Just Stop!

Stop! Just stop wearing "age appropriate" clothing because you are told to.. Wear if it makes you feel good or you think it looks smashing..but just don't do it because someone told you to.

Stop! stop thinking you can't be friends with someone or date someone because they are not in your age range. You can learn many things by knowing many people. If we always worried about what the neighbours thought we'd never live our truth ..OUR lives. If they are of legal age ..then don't worry about the differences in ages.

Stop! stop worrying about appearing silly ...when has silly ever hurt you? well maybe in regards to your boss etc. you may have to put on the mask of "stodgy sanity" but you don't have to wear it 24/7 do you? Be as little children...well not to the point of wetting your diapers but you get me.

Stop! stop apeing what your friends say without questioning if it really is true or not. Nothing worse than a sheep who follows without thinking. Sure trust can be involved in a sheep's behaviour but to thrust all of your own power onto another to have and to hold and take care of is rather hmmmm....unwise a move I would think. Yes your friends may think you are a shit disturber or out of step because you don't follow the herd mind-set but secretly they may also envy you for your strength of character to be able to say "maybe not".

Why do we wait until someone says we are "good enough" to do something? who gives them authority over your ability or appropriateness? I remember hearing about Van Gogh's art teacher telling him that his art was wrong..that the women in his paintings are too wide near the hips...whereupon Vincent yelled at him...called him an ass and said "a woman has to have wide hips to birth a child!" and then he stormed out of the room. Vincent became a world renowned artist..unfortunately not in his time..but later. The point is..just because a person has accreditizations near their name...Phd. BA. MA. etc. does not make them necessarily correct and you wrong..it just doesn't naturally follow. Some may have a better way..and some may not. Hold your power my friends. Be your own leader.

Well this pretty much sums me up...a walking talking question mark..wanting to be awake and not live a life asleep.
